Okay I have tried everything but all i end up with is the black screen. I have watched an up to date video about how to install it but i keep getting a black screen. Now before you start asking me questions about if i downloaded something or put a certain file into a certain folder, my answer will probably "I don't know". I will probably say that because I dont really know about installing mods that much and this is the first mod i have ever installed.

ok i got past the black screen but now it says more creeps is missing the metadata. how do i fix that

Ok, sorry for the delayed response - the solution is to update to the newest MoreCreeps version which adds the metadata and fixes spawning and a lot of other issues.

Use a clean minecraft, get the new MoreCreeps 2.59, forge and customspawner from the downloads page and then:

1. Copy the contents of the FORGE archive to your Minecraft.jar
2. Copy CustomMobSpawner zip to your mods directory
3. Copy the contents of MoreCreepsv2.59 archive to your .minecraft folder

I'm also sorry that I didnt reply to early either. I'm going to try this tomorrow. I'm pretty sure that will work since you know what to do. Thanks for helping.

Okay I did what you told me to do, but know it says that it is updating minecraft and the progress bar is near the end but it is not moving. Did I do something wrong? Also I have a question of where I am supposed to put the contents of the morecreeps at. Is there a specific file that im supposed to put it in, or do I just put it in the folder as soon as I open it?

Don't update! This mod works with minecraft 1.2.5 only...
